My name is Candice Benedict. I am 21 years old, and I am from Detroit, Michigan. I call First Assembly of God in Dearborn Heights, my home church and my family. I come from a small family, but I have big dreams! I was called to the mission field in 2012 where I went on my first missions trip to Nicaragua. Ever since, I have been seeking training and experience in discipleship and biblical foundation all through a worldwide missionary training program called Youth With A Mission. I started in New York, in September 2013, with my Discipleship Training School and graduated from that in March 2014. In 6 months I worked with various ministies ( you can read about those experiences under the About Ywam and DTS page) I started in the fallowing September with my Biblical Core Course in the beautiful city of San Jose, Costa Rica. I spent 6 months in an intesive biblocal studies course, learning how to study and teach how to study the Bible.  Afterwards, I continude my training by returning to YWAM San Jose, Costa Rica to take their Secondary School- The School of Worship. Not only did I learn how to lead worship for others, but more importantly I learned how to incorporate worship as a daily and more constant part of my life. Now, I am currently home, working and serving my family, church and community for the next year. It's my goal to return to Costa Rica for 3-5 years and start Bible Study and Youth Training and Discipleship Programs for Young Adults, Prostitues and Youth and Children at risk...

 

Dear ones, together, God has been given an opportunity to do some amazing things. With willing and obedient hearts, God can do so much more than we could ever imagine. It's my desire and personal goal, that you are involved in what God is doing with the kingdom, through me- US! As this amazing adventure continues, it is my hope that you will be a part of it!   I cannot overstate how incredibly grateful I am for all of the prayers, encouragement and support i recieved during this incredible journey!
